Poverty and despair

No one seems to care

Everything seems fair

Until it’s You down there

No one gives a fuck

When they are down on their luck

You look the other way

Let someone else pay

It’s their own fucking fault

They shouldn’t even talk

You don’t care that they are miserable

They are invisible

It’s no stretch of the mind

That you should be kind

It could easily be you someday

You too could lose your way
